Good Tasting Chewy Snack!
This is the first time I have tried this product and must say, I love it! The all-natural fruit strip states that it contains 1/2 serving of fruit in each strip. Each serving is 1 strip (30 in the container) and has : 45 calories, 0 Fat, 0 Cholesterol, 0 Sodium, 95mg Potassium, 12g Carbohydrates (1g fiber, 9g sugar) and 0 Protein [Two strips would then contain: 90 calories, 190mg Potassium, and 24 Carbs (2g fiber, 18g sugar]. The Ingredients are simple: apple, pear, and strawberry puree, natural strawberry flavor, and lemon juice concentrate. For comparison, I looked up the Nutritional Facts for a cup of strawberries: 49 calories, 0.5 Fat, 0 Cholersterol, 1mg Sodium, 232.22mg Potassium, 11.7 Carbohydrates (11.7 fiber, 7.4 sugar), and 1g Protein. The Fruit Leather is not just a bunch of strawberries so it cannot accurately be compared to a serving of Strawberries one-to-one. But it does provide a bit more data to help me make informed choices on what I am choosing as a snack (real raw fruit versa a processed pre-packaged fruit containing snack). Because it is a pre-packaged food, it also loses the additional nutrients of what we would get from eating the Raw fruit, such as a bunch of Vitamin C (per label data found, the strip has 4% where as a cup of strawberries contains about 149%) . As far as a quick portable snack goes, however, this works great for me. It has a pleasant not-too-sweet taste and can go where ever I go. I realize that eating an apple or a serving of strawberries might be overall more healthy for me, but frankly for the convenience [these will not bruise or spoil and fit nicely in my purse] this is an alternative when eating raw fruit is not an option or, in place of grabbing a cookie or two. The price is also okay as I paid about $15 for 30, which is about $1 per two strips. Each individually wrapped strip is stamped with a "best used by" date. Mine arrived 3/26/2014 and are stamped Best Used By 20 Feb 2015. This is not a fruit substitute or a meal-replacement. If you are looking for "Super Healthy" All Raw and Natural snack/food, this is not for you. This is a commercial product with a shelf-life. If you want all natural and raw: buy local fresh foods and/or grow your own, make your own, and avoid pre-packaged and processed foods.

One of, if not THE best TRUE fruit snack ever.
I love this stuff! I'd eat it every day if I could. This is not a fruit rollup! It's not like any of the "fruit snacks" you can buy. They only contain real apple and pear puree and fruit juices to flavor. The texture is a lot like leather, hence the name, but it's still soft. Best of all, NO HFCS or sugar added. Just fruit and its juices. It won't stick to your teeth like fruit rollups do either, they dissolve nicely if you choose to suck on them instead of chewing but still last a while. Once you have one, good luck stopping! Luckily you get quite a few in a box. I got the strawberry here, and it is quite good, but honestly the grape is to die for! I've had other flavors as well and they all are great. You don't taste the apple and pear, you only taste the flavor of the juices used to flavor them. I can't really think of a negative. Well the plastic wrappers a a bit of a pain and since they are a tiny bit sticky in them, it can be hard to get them out unless you open it from stem to stern.

I'm glad my child likes these. No added sugar. All the other kids eat fruit snacks which are full of garbage ingredients so my child wants fruit snacks of course. This product is a great alternative. Easy to carry away. Curbs the sweet tooth.

Strawberries, made convenient
I used to beg my mom to buy these for me at our health food supermarket. Now I'm an adult and I can buy them in huge quantities! Still the same delicious, high-quality fruit leather I remember. These are NOT fruit roll-ups. They are much more substantial and are not full of artificial flavors. They are made of actual strawberries!

I LOVE these fruit strips. One review said that they were a brown color, "nothing like the red picture shown". Well, that is true, they are a brown color. It was not a "bad batch". Most people are use to fruit snacks, that are chewy, soft and sweet. These are actually made from REAL strawberries and have NO artificial colors and/or flavors. So people who are use to added sugar in fruit snacks, would think these are not sweet. This fruit strip is natural in every way, its more tough, not soft & chewy, you can rip it. Has texture to it when you chew. I am addicted to these things..so are my kids, who eat only organic snacks. Good thing these are 1/2 serving of fruit per strip, because we eat alot of these! I buy the pack of 30 from amazon, every 2 weeks. The price here is alot cheaper than the local grocery stores.

I really like having these on hand for snacks. The strawberry fruit leathers are very soft and easy to eat. I've been eating Stretch Island fruit leathers for many years and have tried each of the different flavor varieties and out of all of them, I find the strawberry to be my favorite. While I buy them for myself, my kids are always swiping them from me and asking me to pick up more. They like them a lot better than typical gummy and fruit roll-up snacks and are thrilled when I put them in their school lunches or in their backpacks for their school snack time. The taste is just perfect. They're not too sweet like a candy might be, but they aren't hard and tasteless either. They don't taste like heath food, but are definitely healthier than most candy snacks out there. And at only 45 calories each, they make a perfect snack for dieters.

Great Fruity Snack That Makes Kids and Parents Happy
My kids love fruit snacks, but I hate the amount of sugar and other ingredients that are in them. Stretch Island Fruit Leather makes all of us happy. I like that they are made with real fruit and no added sugar, artificial preservatives or colors. The kids like them because they taste good. These really do taste good like strawberry. The taste may be a little less intense than other similar products because there is no artificial flavors in them, but they are quite good. The texture is a little bit different than a fruit roll up, but I think that it's a better texture. It's not shiny and slippery like a fruit roll up. The price on these is also great since you get a an entire box of 30. In stores I have seen these sold for almost $1.00 each. When you buy by the box on Amazon, it's less than half of that price per piece (even less if you can subscribe to it). These fruit strips are the perfect snack to make both parents and kids happy.

Absolutely Love These
These are my favorite fruit leathers. I love this flavor as well as the mango. And they are so much better for you than the fruit roll-ups we ate as kids. They are soft and chewy, not hard like other reviewers have noted. They just received bad products. Until now, I was spending absolutely too much money on these at natural food stores and Albertsons. Unfortunately, our Costco does not sell these. Using Amazon's subscribe and save feature, I am getting them for a much better deal than I otherwise could. These are the perfect proportion for storing in your purse to tide you over when you are hungry and circumstances do not allow you to eat your next meal. For all those of you who are worried about receiving products close to their expiration date or products that are hard or inedible, I have read in other food reviews on Amazon that Amazon will replace the expired or inedible/hard products if you are not satisfied.
